Hi! I’m a Los Angeles–based audio journalist and producer. I currently work on Crooked Media’s audio and video podcasts Pod Save America and Assembly Required with Stacey Abrams.
Before joining Crooked, I produced culture and entertainment shows including Gimlet/Spotify’s Archetypes with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, NPR’s How I Built This with Guy Raz, and TED Radio Hour.
Latest Projects
Associate Producer: Regularly featured on bi-monthly producer segments; wrote full show scripts including host dialogue, transitions, and interview questions; edited episodes in Descript and Pro Tools; researched, pre-interviewed, and booked expert guests; and managed ongoing communication with partners, sponsors, and collaborators.
Associate Producer: Co-produced three weekly episodes for the nation’s top liberal political podcast, executed guest booking, interview prep, studio and remote recording sessions, cut news and archival clips using and conducted daily news monitoring.
Producer: Interviewed secondary guests, cultural experts, and award-winning authors; edited episodes in Pro Tools (assembling tape, condensing interviews, scoring episodes, placing ad breaks, and sourcing archival audio); built and managed production spreadsheets to streamline workflows; and booked and led communications with high-profile celebrity guests.
Assistant Producer: Led development of How I Built This: Resilience Series, a weekly live video spinoff; project-managed the How I Built This Summit live event; wrote in-depth research packets for guests; and produced midrolls, billboards, and episode promos in collaboration with NPR’s marketing team.
Intern: Tracked and curated new and archival TED and TEDx talks; produced midrolls, billboards, and episode promos in collaboration with NPR’s marketing team; drafted web copy and built episode pages; and transcribed interviews and synced tape for production.
A short documentary about the founder of Chezie, Toby Egbuna and his co-founder (and sister) Dumebi Egbuna.
Written works for publications such as NPR, City on a Hill Press and the University of California Santa Cruz.
